Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. and the Social Security System have launched the MySSS Card powered by DiskarTech for Overseas Filipino Workers in Hong Kong, while previewing an upcoming digital microloan facility for members.
The partnership was showcased during the SSS Global Kabayan Day event held Sept. 12-14. The new card provides members with access to SSS digital services, a DiskarTech digital banking account and a physical debit card for transactions.
The institutions also introduced SSS LoanLite, an upcoming digital lending service that will allow qualified members to apply for microloans ranging from ₱1,000 to ₱20,000 through the DiskarTech mobile application. The initiative aims to streamline disbursement processes and reduce reliance on informal lending channels for overseas workers who require immediate financial access.
The MySSS Card project recently received industry awards, including Best Growth Strategy in Digital Banking in the Philippines at The Asian Banker Philippine Awards 2026 and a Philippine Quill Award for Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communication.
Villanueva was also recognized as Digital Banking Champion of the Year at the World Financial Innovation Series 2026 for his role in leading RCBC’s digital inclusion platforms, including DiskarTech and ATM Go.
