Binance rolls out ETF-based wealth management tool for crypto users

Binance is deepening its push into traditional finance with the launch of a new wealth management product built around US-listed exchange-traded funds (ETF). The offering, unveiled through an announcement on September 15, gives eligible users on the exchange access to 11 ETFs centered on short-term US Treasurys and investment-grade bonds.

Housed within Binance’s Earn section, the product is called ETF Wealth Management. It organizes the available funds into three categories: cash management, steady income, and yield enhancement.

Each category corresponds to a different investment time frame, spanning from holding periods under six months to those extending beyond a year. The design is meant to give users a straightforward way to match fixed-income strategies with how long they intend to keep their money invested.

Orders for these ETFs are routed through Binance Stock Trading, and buyers gain the same economic rights as any other shareholder, meaning they benefit from both price appreciation and any distributions the funds pay out. Importantly, this isn’t a synthetic or tokenized product.

Customers are buying genuine ETF shares rather than a crypto-native representation of them. Behind the scenes, Binance functions as the front-end interface, while a partner called Nest Trading forwards orders to Alpaca Securities, which handles trade execution and custody of the underlying assets.

This rollout builds on a broader stock-trading initiative Binance launched back in June, which opened up trading in more than 7,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs to qualifying users. The new wealth management tool essentially carves out a focused subset of that catalog, tailored specifically to income generation and cash management needs.

The move also follows Binance’s introduction earlier this month of physically settled options covering over 1,000 US equities and ETFs, another step in expanding its traditional finance footprint alongside its crypto core business.

Market observers see these kinds of crossover products as increasingly relevant. PwC’s 2025 Global ETF Survey found that more than 80% of executives surveyed expect fund distribution technology to meaningfully widen access to public equities and extend trading hours by 2028.
